On June 21, 2017 the System integrator and Navicon developer announced implementation of the cloud MDM solution in Food Union group.
The solution helps the FMCG manufacturing to consolidate the reporting from several branches and productions and to make management decisions on the basis of constantly renewed data set. The project became a part of a system of the consolidated statements which is created for Food Union by consulting company "FTO".
The solution automates processes of collecting, cleaning and deduplication of data and builds effective interaction between all accounting systems of the company.
In Food Union the MDM system synchronizes "master data" of ERP systems - key information on business and its components: partners, sales, outlets. It is not required to make to the producer in the course of creation of the consolidated statements manual data processing any more. With each ERP reference book the bus exchanges data by means of the adapter, leading data to a uniform format and saving them in corporate storage. Besides, a system will automatically recognize close elements and unifies them on one format: for example, the names of different partners entered with an error, a system will attach to one legal person.
The solution Navicon MDM is deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and transferred to commercial operation — now ERP systems of two plants Food Union in Riga are connected to it. Connection to a system 7 more ERP applications which are used at the plants in the Baltics, Belarus and Russia is conducted.
