The Globus hypermarket passed into a cloud of SAP

On June 29, 2017 SAP and Globe announced implementation of the project on multikanalnost program implementation in a cloud of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC).

"Globe" selected SAP HEC for implementation of strategic projects on a multikanalnost thanks to an opportunity to quickly receive a ready landscape based on the SAP HANA certified equipment and at once to start the beginning of the project. Also the company will receive a set of services for administration and operation of the platform. Within several months project implementation on the unrolled infrastructure in a data processing center of SAP is planned, and an exit in produktiv is planned in the fall.

The complex service with an opportunity to smoothly increase capacities according to replication stages on all shops of network and avoiding of idle time and also inefficient use of infrastructure was necessary for fast start of the Globe project. Besides, existence of uniform technical support service at the solution of any tasks became an important selection term for benefit of SAP HEC: from pro-active maintenance of operation of the equipment before ensuring functioning of a SAP software.
