Content

On June 30, 2017 the Eastwind company announced implementation of SMS Firewall technology in network of Beeline Tajikistan operator.

Project Tasks

In Beeline Tajikistan noted passing of the message traffic for the subscribers through transaction or information notifications of third-party services (A2P). Such mailings always cost cheaper than standard SMS advertizing, and to save, some companies go on tricks, substituting for one another. The operator at the same time loses revenue, his subscribers receive a flow of "grey" offers.

Fight against SMS fraud, in network of Beeline Tajikistan operator required implementation of technology. The Ekaterinburg developers offered the product SMS Firewall.

Project Progress

Considering a main objective of the client, specialists of the contractor implemented Antispam and Antifraud services in Beeline Tajikistan.

System modules against threats provide a comprehensive protection of the operator, his subscribers and control internal and external SMS traffic.

Project Results

After system implementation, the Tajik subscribers of Beeline began to receive only the checked mailings, and the quantity of spam and attempts of fraud was sharply reduced.

The product equaled our hopes: now we control all A2P-traffic and we block "gray" traffic which makes a detour us. Thereby we do not lose revenue. Further development of service is ready to be discussed after we cover the current functionality for 100%. Now we still study a system. Though training in a product in Eastwind was very much remembered: in Yekaterinburg there was a 35-degree frost and it became for us big testing – we are not adapted for such cold weather.
