iFactr is transferred to an open source code

On June 27, 2017 the Zebra Technologies Corporation company announced transfer of a development environment of cross-platform mobile application of iFactr to model open source. It, according to the company, will simplify to the organizations transition to use of the operating systems (OS) for mobile devices.

The company transfers iFactr to the platform open source to help the clients, partners and all industry community of developers to develop quicker the platform reducing the prices and reducing the costs connected with transition.

Transition to an open source code encourages cooperation, promotes more rapid development of prototypes and implementation of innovations that is favorable for all industry in general, the company stated.

Now we become witnesses of the most large-scale transition to the operating systems (OS) for all history of use of mobile computers. Transition of the iFactr platform to model open source will give to our clients more wide field for maneuvers and will promote transition to more modern mobile OS.

IFactr platform

For June 30, 2017 iFactr is a development environment for cross-platform mobile applications.

The iFactr platform allows to develop the cross-platform applications working running any OS. Users can invest in the resources and receive the mobile application compatible from several OS. It will help to concentrate efforts on development of the innovation opportunities and production functions, but not to be engaged in support of the applications for each of versions of OS used at the enterprise.
