It was necessary to create the common information space available to all staff of 585 company, irrespective of their location of office. Having studied the solutions proposed in the IT market, the 585 company stopped the choice on the Conteq company having solid experience of implementation of difficult projects on platforms of Microsoft.

Purposes and tasks projects

The 585 company needed to manage requests for development of 3D models by designers, to quickly find required model and all necessary information on it. Thus, two main objectives of the project were formulated: sushchestvennosokratit terms of development of model and increase transparency of this process at each stage.

Solution

As the solution the DocSpace platform developed on Microsoft SharePoint and, as a result, maintaining all functionality of Microsoft Office was selected. The module "Management of Requests" will provide a necessary order in requests, considerably will reduce loss of requests, will provide time frames on accomplishment of the created request, thereby having reduced finance and image costs. Thus, Management of requests automates the following tasks:

• formation of requests for development of 3D models by designers, according to the approved template;
• approval of the request in electronic form;
• maintaining dynamic magazines of requests;
• accounting of the statuses of requests (on approval, it is approved, on a statement, etc.);
• automatic mailing of notifications to participants of process of approval;
• maintaining archive of requests with search of requests in different attributes.

Project Results

As a result of project implementation, all models of products (more than 40,000 records) are united in uniform base, search of necessary model in different parameters is organized. Now, information on models is easily available to all employees, is presented in the usual interface. Specialists can describe properties of a new product, and the request is automatically transferred to the contractor to development of a 3D model. The contractor receives the notification and can load files of model in the usual conductor of Windows. Within the project the task of automation of work with base of 3D models of jewelry products is completely solved. The term of development of model of a product is reduced twice.
