Sevzap of STC (Microsoft SharePoint)

The company management came to the decision on creation of own information resource for division Corporate university. The Conteq system integrator having mnogolteny experience of implementation of corporate portals and being a gold parner of Microsoft became the partner in the project of Sevzap of STC company.

Purposes and tasks projects

• All information should be consolidated in a common information space.
• It is necessary to increase twice efficiency of information exchange.
• The convenient tool for operational informing employees on news and events should be created.
• It is necessary to reduce search time of necessary documents significantly.
• The block of consolidation of the reporting allowing to collect the reporting from subsidiaries and affiliates by different criteria should be created.
• It is necessary to minimize risks of losses of information and documents.

Solution

Company management made a choice for benefit of a corporate portal on the high-performance Microsoft SharePoint platform. During the project SharePoint Server was unrolled and configured. The structure of the portal included sections:

• The company – the representative section for solving of tasks of general management, placement of general information on the company;
• Personnel – for publicizing of work with personnel, social actions in the companies and tools for social networks;
• The corporate university – for display and collection of information in all areas of work of division Corporate university;
• SMK – for providing continuous access to archive of documentation of a quality management system;
• Questions of design – the section containing information of technological character;
• IT – for providing necessary information to employees for successful operation, implementation and upgrade of information technologies;
• Reference books – the reference information of the general and legal character.

Project Results

The Sevzap of STC corporate portal became a uniform source of official information and knowledge sharing between the staff of the company. Feedback mechanisms, polls were implemented. Different services of the portal provided employees with the fast and convenient tool for obtaining information, necessary for work, document templates, execution of the request for IT and on office, for dialog with company management and with specialists from other divisions.
