Tyvasvyazyinform organized reservation of communication channels

On July 5, 2017 the ROTEK-Novosibirsk company announced upgrade of technology of reservation of communication channels of PJSC Tyvasvyazyinform.

Project Tasks

The regional operator "Tyvasvyazyinform" made the decision on the organization of reservation of the data transmission channels using optical lines of communication. It was required to create a reserve route on RRL for several flows of E1, cable TCh-channels, express speaker circuits of FXS/FXO. The solution should provide a possibility of transfer of the main and reserve traffic both on E1, and on the Ethernet-channel.

Project Progress

Technical solution from ROTEK-Novosibirsk company is based on multiservice switches of Zelax MM-522. This equipment integrates functions of the router, the multiplexer and the Ethernet switch, they have modular structure, the interfaces E1, FXS, FXO, TCh, Ethernet, an opportunity to transfer traffic on E1 channels.

The equipment supports the modes of reservation 1 + 1 and 1 + by N, can provide reservation of several independent channels at the same time. In the normal mode the equipment transfers the entering data at the same time to all outgoing communication channels (the main and reserve), and on the remote party acceptance is conducted only with the main channel.

Switching from the basic to an alternative channel happens at detection of accidents of LOS, LOF, AIS and exceeding of level of errors. Switching happens without communication loss. The mode in which alternative channels are used only in case of accident on the basic is provided, i.e. in the normal mode these channels are not used for transfer and data reception. For each of the reserved channels switching delay timers can be configured that allows the device not to switch to an alternative channel in case of short-term accidents.

Project Results

At the expense of modular construction on one MM-522 "assembled" the TDM multiplexer for multiplexing of traffic of telegraphy and express speaker circuits in E1 flow, the Ethernet converter is E1 and the device for reservation of channels.

The customer received the inexpensive compact solution.
