The Elarskan A2 scanner is installed in branch of the Central library system of Nakhodka

In July, 2017 the Elar corporation delivered the equipment for digitization in municipal budgetary institution of culture "Central library system" of the Nakhodka city district. The Russian scanner "Elarskan A2" is installed in TsBS branch of Nakhodka — the Central city library.

The central library system of Nakhodka is a network of municipal libraries with a volume of cumulative fund which is more than 450 thousand units of storage. Here not only accept readers and issue them books, but also conduct big cultural and educational work. Local history activity for a library system is one of the main. In particular, here on the history of the region full text databases are created. It is expected that digitization of funds will allow to expand possibilities of a library system of the Nakhodka city district, for example, to implement more large-scale local history projects.

A transfer in an electronic form of documents will be made using a complex of planetary scanning of Elarskan of A2. This high-performance equipment will allow to transfer to a digital format both books, and periodicals in streaming mode and it is safe for originals, noted in Elar.

According to the head of the regional office of Elar corporation in Vladivostok Evgeny Ivanov, "the planetary scanner "Elarskan A2" is actively purchased, in particular, by municipal libraries as completely meets requirements of organizations on functional characteristics of the scanning equipment and, at the same time, is available at the price".
