The ZTE Corporation company in July, 2017 announced start of the solution on the organization of "smart" navigation and to determination of location of the car in premises (Indoor Intelligent Navigation, Smart Car Seeking).
The solution provides seamless navigation on the street and in premises, "smart" determination of location of the car and open system of service (COS). Using the solution for internal coating of QCell, technology of mobile peripheral calculations (MEC) and the mechanism of detection of objects based on IoT technology by means of a magnetic flux density, the solution provides management of internal parkings (as for parkings with a large number of parking spaces, and for multilevel parkings), requires small costs and at the same time allows the operator to build the "smart" building, having established stable connection between objects in the solution, told in the company.
At detection of the approaching car the system of internal coating QCell automatically reports about it in the MEC system. It, in turn, provides the high accuracy of navigation indoors, guarantees a possibility of reservation of the parking space and planning of a route of the movement of the car.
Modern underground parkings often are multi-level, and their area can exceed 10 thousand sq.m. In such conditions it is easy to get lost or forget, the car was parked where exactly. Within the solution of ZTE use of QCell allows to trace a route of the movement of the user, and the mechanism based on IoT technology for detection of objects by means of a magnetic flux density — defines algorithms of the movement, analyzes and remembers the place of the parking of the car. To obtain detailed information on exact arrangement of the car and on how to it to reach, to the client, being on the internal parking, it is enough to scan the QR code and to click on Navi in a special application.
"Thus the driver does not need to remember number of the parking space, accounting number of a parking zone or a route of the movement any more. It is enough to include navigation and in real time to follow indications of a system" — said in ZTE.
The openness of the solution of ZTE allows to use a broad spectrum of additional services. For example, the operator in case of need can provide to the manager of the parking information on location of the phone/car or data on unoccupied parking spaces. Besides, in view of opportunities for management and development of the MEC applications, using this solution of ZTE it is possible to obtain relevant information for transfer of content to providers and/or developer company for completion of the application.
In general the solution is focused on rendering assistance in construction of "smart" buildings and promotes creation of a new ecosystem, noted in ZTE.
