The project on use of neural network technologies "The fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere" (Fund of assistance to innovations) got approval of Federal State Budgetary Institution in logging works of the Ekshnspeys LLC company entering into Digital Design group in the summer of 2017.
According to the results of the tender "Razvitiye-NTI" (queue of II) directed to support of implementation of actions plans of the National technology initiative ("road maps" of NTI), the company of the Digital Design group will get a financial support of Fund of assistance to innovations in the form of a grant on development of the project.
The software product implementing the automated digitization of logging charts will become a project deliverable. The alternative valuation method of permeability of breeds using neural network technologies is the cornerstone of the solution. Thanks to a possibility of training, neural networks are the powerful tool of modeling allowing to reproduce difficult nonlinear dependences between permeability of layer, porosity and the nature of distribution of phases of saturation. The software platform will execute data loading, analytical processing, to be integrated with geographic information systems and with the systems of the normative reference information (NRI), then to visualize the acquired information. It will allow to reduce terms of data processing and to increase their quality and also to construct a complex geophysical 3D model for all area of the field.
For the first time Digital Design submitted the project at a meeting within the actions of NTI for the Marinette direction in May, 2017. It is going to bring a software platform into commercial operation in 2018.
"Thanks to a grant of Fund we will continue the researches and in the next one and a half years we will be able already to provide a prototype of the solution and to test it under production conditions. The new solution will make strong competition to the analogs which are available in the world which execute data processing of geophysical surveys of wells in the semi-automated mode, – Andrey Elyonyshev coordinating scientific activity of Digital Design group told. – The experts participating in activity of research laboratory work on the project.
