Multimedia integrator Ascreen and Epson, a structural unit of the Japanese diversified concern Seiko Group, will act as technical partners of the Media In festival, which will be held on the new stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater and will present current directions and forms in media art.
Within the framework of the festival, interactive and light installations, audiovisual objects and works in the field of video art from world and Russian media artists will be demonstrated. The central part of the program will be a space with a circular screen and a special selection of panoramic films and video works. They plan to complete the festival with an interactive media format.
Ascreen and Epson are responsible for the technical implementation of the event's projects, including: the audiovisual installation Portal from Tonoptik, the video installation "Siren Island" from the Ghost Ship series by Tanya Akhmetgalieva and the sketch play Generations, created by Mikhail Patlasov and Alina Shklyarskaya.
"At the Media In festival, our task will be to do everything so that the ideas of the authors are embodied exactly as they were conceived, and nothing prevented the audience from immersing themselves in the art space. Such work requires serious programming skills and a lot of attention to detail. The experience of designing multimedia spaces: exhibitions, museums, shows, theaters and entertainment centers will help us in its successful implementation, "said Pavel Mayor, General Director of the Askrin Group of Companies.
