Lamoda implemented Columbus DSM for security management in the ERP system

In July, 2017 the Columbus company announced that online riteyer Lamoda implemented Columbus DSM for security management in an ERP system.

The ERP system constructed based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 is applied in Lamoda since 2013. In 2017 the company decided to automate management of access rights, to increase transparency of processes of creation and change of roles and also to reduce risks of unauthorized access to confidential information. The retailer held the tender for the best solution for data protection of ERP systems based on which development of Columbus was selected.

According to representatives of Lamoda Group, "the business is more dynamic and more complex, the scenarios of security management in ERP systems are more various. The protected use of data is especially relevant today: if not to control the access levels of users, it can lead to financial and operational losses sooner or later".

For the solution of an assigned task specialists of Columbus offered own IT solution — Dynamic Security Management (DSM). According to developers, it provides the increased degree of protection of Microsoft Dynamics AX and includes all necessary Lamoda of function: fast setup of the necessary quantity of roles (about 30), creation of a matrix of separation of powers (SoD — Segregation of Duties) and access control on its basis, reflection of complete hierarchy (the user — a role — duties — privileges, etc.). Besides, Dynamic Security Management offers tools for setup of privileges and duties, logging of changes and ample opportunities on creation of the analytical reporting connected with control of access rights.
