Irkutsk Oil Company provided employees on outsourcing with remote desktops

On July 24, 2017 the ActiveCloud by Softline company announced delivery of service of remote graphic desktops ActiveDesk for Irkutsk Oil Company.

Project Tasks

When developing infrastructure it was required to attract to an oil-extracting object, Irkutsk Oil Company in a project team of the third-party experts having narrow specialization. Specialists from Japan responded. Quickly to provide the contractor with jobs, they should be controlled completely by the customer, have the system of data protection from copying.

The situation was complicated by the limited terms of the project which are not giving the chance to create infrastructure. And to buy workstations, software for short term of use it is economically inefficient.

Project Progress

The service of remote graphic desktops ActiveDesk provided by cloud provider of ActiveCloud helped with the solution of a task. Necessary infrastructure was unrolled in a cloud within one day.

Project Results

In this project security was very important for the customer. We should not have allowed leak of important files. When using our service all documents are stored in the territory of Russia and third-party designers have no opportunity to download them on the PCs. ActiveDesk attracted us with the speed of providing service that allowed to create quickly a unified safe working environment for all project participants where they were. Besides, our calculations showed that use of ActiveDesk service is economically reasonable as for the short, and stretched in time projects.
