Start of FaceMatica on the website of Vocord
The Vokord company started on October 10, 2017 a cloud service of face recognition and determination of age of FaceMatica on the website.
The Vocord FaceMatica service is available in all browsers and has the intuitive interface. The tool allows any user to define degree of similarity of two photos or several photos with a standard image, to define gender and age of the person.
The gallery of photos is uploaded to the site, also package loading to 500 photos in one step is supported. After that the standard image is loaded. A system automatically determines degree of similarity of images from gallery with a reference photo and ranges them in percentage. Also statistics on gender and age is issued. In selections photos without person are not considered, group photos are separately selected.
Customers and application developers can check possibilities of Vocord FaceMatica in test online mode further to embed service of face recognition in proprietary external applications on the basis of the programming interface API (Application Programming Interface). The platform is unified for integration at different platforms.
Start of the version of FaceMatica and software of authentication for Android
On July 27, 2017 the Vokord company announced release of the version of a cloud service of face recognition of FaceMatica and the application for authentication on mobile devices on the Android platform.
FaceMatica provides access to opportunities of a sensing technology of persons of Vocord (based on the NIST and Megaface tests) for employees, offices and divisions – from any devices and at any time.
The cloud platform of biometric face recognition of FaceMatica can be used for solving of tasks of the marketing analysis and profiling of buyers, a time recording of employees, access control to premises, etc. Service can work in a public cloud on a subscription or be established in a private cloud.
FaceMatica supports practically any cameras and formats of the photo and video image; as a source of images IP-, webcams, cameras of mobile devices or specialized cameras for face recognition can be used.
The latest version of FaceMatica is distinguished by implementation of an algorithm of face recognition of Vocord. The FaceMatica service has the simple API external interface (Application Programming Interface) which allows external applications of the most different producers to address this service and to receive feature set, connected with face recognition. At the same time the unified platform is comfortable in terms of integration at different platforms.
Service is characterized by high-speed performance. Thanks to it, service is capable to recognize to 100 persons for a quarter of second. Let's emphasize that it is possible to store only biometric templates in a cloud that makes impossible leak of real images.
On July 27, 2017 to users there was well mobile application for authentication on the person working with FaceMatica services. This application on the Android platform can be used for testing of service and as a basis for development of the user solutions.
