SAP ТrueRec

TrueRec is digital service for storage of private papers, certificates on professional qualification and education.

On July 27, 2017 the center of the innovative developments of SAP provided mobile application for iOS – TrueRec by SAP. It is technology for storage of private papers, certificates on professional qualification and education

The digital service allows to add different data: from the identity certificate, the passport and driver's licenses to education documents, the diploma or certificates from work locations.

TrueRec is SAP application based on a blockchain. The solution will help users to save undivided possession by the data in one service and it is safe to share information on a request. The application will be to useful workers of those professions which need to provide often confirmation of the professional qualification (for example, pilots of aircraft), and to employers for verification of personal data of the potential candidate.

When data or the document are loaded into TrueRec, the user receives the TRU file, and the digital fingerprint (hash) of the document registers in a blockchain. It ensures safety of personal data because information from the document is not stored in a blockchain. At the same time the blockchain is the only and independent source for confirmation of accuracy of the information for interested persons.

TrueRec does not store the certificate or the document – the user can independently select, where to it to store the documents (for example, on the phone). He can see the TRU file in the TrueRec application and send information to the employer and to other organization during any opportunity that they could check reliability, having compared data a hash in a blockchain.

TrueRec is developed on the basis of open open-source of the Ethereum platform. It allows to use functions of smart contracts (smart contract) for the conclusion of transactions in the online mode.
