MiTek: Panel of widgets

"The panel of widgets" allows to obtain for several seconds information on all documents and cuts of business processes in the Directum system in the mode of a single window.

The solution in general allows:

• display the consolidated data on business processes of the enterprise in a single window;
• to visually focus attention on especially important tasks and tasks;
• provide high control of execution of instructions due to fast monitoring and the analysis of their status;
• find any task of indicators less than in 20 seconds.

The feature for personalisation of user preferences is added

The MiTek company announced on October 9, 2017 expansion of functionality of technical solution "A panel of widgets Directum". In the provided version the emphasis is placed on personalisation of user preferences of widgets.

After upgrade an opportunity appeared:

• Manage user preferences.
  • Now system administrators can configure conveniently widgets for each user separately. Among possible actions export, import, removal, editing, copying of settings of widgets are provided.

• Create ready sets of widgets and appoint them by default for users and user groups.
  • At the first start of a panel of widgets to the user the ready set of widgets preconfigured especially for it will be automatically loaded.

• Prohibit users and user groups to change structure of widgets to panels.
  • If necessary the administrator can prohibit to change a set of widgets, to add widgets and to delete widgets from a panel. At the same time possibilities of turning and free change of location of widgets on a panel will not be mentioned.

The updated panel of widgets is already available to work in Directum 5.2 above.

Release of "A panel of widgets" for Directum

On July 31 the MiTek company announced creation of technical solution "A panel of widgets". Data are provided by the principle of a single window in a format of widgets.

Daily users of Directum are faced the need of fast obtaining different information. It is possible to make it in several ways, however any of them does not provide a complex picture on processes. MiTek considered such feature and created "A panel of widgets".

Information in "A panel of widgets" is provided by the card principle. Indicators on different types of organization activity are arranged in groups, made out in widgets and taken out on Directum desktop. The quantitative status of indicators is reflected by digital counters where an additional informant is their color illumination.

Each widget is configured by the sizes, a color design, location in a working window. Users can change names of widgets, expand the range of the indicators displayed in them, or create own widgets necessary for work.

It is possible get quick access to the necessary document group or tasks by transition of one of points of the widget which is responsible for this type or type of objects.

Technical solution already successfully works for a number of clients of MiTek.
