The project is begun in the spring of 2007. In July, 2007 the new information system is brought into operation in Vestelcom on the Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 platform, the company contractor reported on April 22, 2013.

Job

The project team resolved methodological issues of development uniform for Vestelcom and the head company of accounting model. Within this stage of works consultants of Gmcsunifitsirovali process of preparation of the reporting, developed uniform standards of accounting and qualifiers of items of income, expenses, cash flows. The solution of methodological issues allowed to pass successfully to the second part of the project – automation of key processes of financial accounting, to carrying out necessary settings of a system and its start.

Presence at GMCS company of Microsoft of the solution for the companies of the sector of telecommunications developed based on the Microsoft Dynamics AX system and officially certified and communications - GMCS Telecom became an important factor of successful carrying out this project. Despite the seeming differences in fields of activity of Vestelcom working mainly in the direction of financial investments, and Rostelecom showing the operator of distant telephone communication, this solution was used also in this project. Transferring of a number of the ready mechanisms of business process automation of the company implemented in the solution GMCS Telecom allowed to reduce considerably aggregate terms of work and also to perform the project according to the scheme, the most approximate to standards of creation of IT infrastructure within all company.

Result

Staff of the company executes such transactions as fixed asset accounting, settlings with suppliers and clients, the cash accounting, customer relations, cost accounting of services within the uniform information and technical space implemented in the environment of the Microsoft Dynamics AX system. Thanks to implementation in Vestelcom of model of creation of the corporate reporting, its activity became completely transparent for the head company. Process automation of budgeting and distribution of money became other important task. The model of creation of budgets and planning of use of money accepted in Rostelecom group is for this purpose also selected.
