The list of the medical products implanted on compulsory health insurance

2017: Expansion of the list

At the end of July, 2017 the Government of the Russian Federation expanded the list of the medical products implanted into a human body provided within the program of the compulsory health insurance (CHI).

According to the order signed by the prime minister Dmitry Medvedev, the list of medical products for implantation within the program of the state guarantees of free delivery of health care is complemented with 23 types of products, 21 of which treat the solutions used for preparation for implantation, prevention of complications at surgical interventions, deliveries, fixings and extraction of the medical products implanted into a human body.

In particular, the updated list included bone screws, fiksatsionny plates, surgical threads, tough prostheses of a penis, small egg prostheses, glue for connection of edges of a wound, the shunt connector for cerebrospinal fluid, a tube for connection of the nervous terminations (resolving) of animal origin.

Besides, were included a peritonealny catheter with medicine in the list, a grid surgical universal, collagenic, resolving; a cup of a reverse endoprosthesis of a shoulder joint polyethylene, a distractor for craniofacial surgery and a membrane collagenic, dental for fabric regeneration.

By the end of July, 2017 the list of implants which are provided according to policies of compulsory health insurance contains 359 names. The document is prepared by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The made decision is aimed at providing citizens with the medical products implanted into a human body at delivery of health care within the program of the state guarantees of free delivery of health care — note in the cabinet.[1]
