In 2013 Christopher Haylen began work in manufacturing company of solutions for Citrix virtualatsziya. He held different positions in this company. 2017: Appointment of Imperva as the head

In August, 2017 the decision maker for information security support of Imperva announced Christopher Haylen's appointment the new head of the company. The market negatively reacted to this news.

On August 15, 2017 Christopher Haylen will enter duties of the CEO and president of Imperva. He will also join the companies the board.

On CEO Inperva post Haylen changes  Anthony Bettencourt who will remain in the company at a new position of the vice president for customer acquisition and will save a post of the chairman of the board of directors. The reason of resignation of Bettencourt is not stated.

According to Haylen, he decided to join Imperva because of the growing need of the market for technologies of data protection and applications. The company has huge opportunities for business differentiation, he added.[1]

In day when the statement for change of the CEO of Imperva was made, stocks of the company fell in price more than by 5%.

2019: Dismissal after large-scale date leak of clients

At the end of October, 2019 it became known of dismissal of the CEO of Imperva Christopher Haylen after large-scale date leak of clients.

As the representative of Imperva told the Calcalist edition, Haylen resigned on October 21, 2019. This solution, according to him, was accepted together with private investment company Thoma Bravo which purchased Imperva in 2018.

Imperva began search of the new CEO. Throughout this process by the acting as the head of the company there will be her chairman of the board of directors Charles Goodman. This information is also published on the website Imperva.

Haylen's leaving Imperva it was announced two months later as the company was recognized in date leak of clients. The problem concerned users of Imperva Cloud Web Application Firewall CDN service (Incapsula was called earlier). It is supposed that the third parties could get access to the e-mail addresses, hashes of passwords, the API keys and SSL certificates.

The producer notified affected users on an incident and initiated for them reset of passwords from accounts. To all clients also suggested to use additional security measures to prevent further steps of malefactors.

Users of Cloud WAF were recommended to make standard change of passwords, to connect two-factor authentication and to configure a uniform input of Single Sign-On and also to reset API keys and to generate new SSL certificates. Moreover, if users do not change passwords, then the company promised to carry out forced change of data within 90 days from the moment of the incident.

Imperva said that after happened the company began to apply more severe measures to information security support.[2]
