2017: Creation of 13 cardiocenters

In August, 2017 the Ukrainian authorities declared importance of quick start of the cardiocenters in the country.

On owls of the Deputy Minister of Health Alexander Linchevsky, in Ukraine annually there are about 40 thousand heart attacks, from them in about 20 thousand cases it is necessary an angiography and stenting.

In February, 2017 the Cabinet of Ukraine made the decision on creation of the cardiological and vascular centers. Until the end of 2017 it is going to start 13 such objects in 11 areas.

As for the cardiocenters — an important issue. It is necessary to accelerate introduction. What is necessary from me, speak, but I would like that at us until the end of the year all centers worked at full capacity. We introduce a system of free drugs... we will develop the system of the cardiocenters for the whole country - to save lives of the Ukrainian citizens — the prime minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said.

According to plans of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, in 2017 through the international organizations for means of the state budget more than 10.4 thousand stents for treatment of patients with a sharp coronary syndrome of production of Boston Scientific companies (USA) and Balton (France, Poland) worth from 80 to 150 dollars apiece will be purchased. By July 19 20 thousand stents purchased.

Our ultimate goal - Ukraine becomes covered by network of organizations where the angiography and stenting is performed. Where recovery of passability of a warm vessel can be for a short time performed and activity of a cardiac muscle is saved. We create network of institutions, we buy stents and supplies — Alexander Linchevsky noted.

According to him, supplies to be distributed in such a way that emergency medical service will be provided to patients with a heart attack free of charge.[1]
