"Customs card" was protected from internal cybersecurity threats using Solar Dozor

On August 17, 2017 Solar Security announced project implementation on protection Customs card company from internal threats of information security using the DLP solution Solar Dozor. The project was implemented in cooperation with Iridis company.

Project Tasks

"Customs card" is an operator of customs payments and daily processes large volumes of personal and payment data. Therefore confidential information protection from leaks was the key task facing the company.

In view of high sensitivity of the protected data Customs card imposed high requirements to the considered DLP solutions. First of all, from the solution a broad set of mechanisms of the analysis and controlled data transmission channels, modularity and the flexible system of licensing and also strictly domestic origin were required.

For us there was very important with what ease the analytical Solar Dozor tools provide timely detection and investigation of information leaks — Sergey Gorchakov, the director of directorate of information security of Customs card company told. — Besides, the solution "on the fly" analyzes contents of documents and blocks data transmission if it is prohibited by information security policies. Project Progress

During a pilot project problem places of interaction of a product and customer's infrastructure were revealed. Specialists of Solar Security carried out necessary works on adaptation, and as a result directly product introduction took only several days.

Solar Dozor is selected among other solutions simple and the intuitive interface easy in mastering. The correct and thought-over architecture of a product allows to set up quickly the solution and does not require difficult reconfiguration of the existing network infrastructure. Thanks to it implementation of Solar Dozor is performed in short terms, the small number of employees and without additional finance costs" — Sergey Gorchakov added.

Successful implementation of DLP requires harmonious actions of vendor, integrator and customer, and in this case everything was quite so.
