2017: Support of work in virtual environment

On August 22 the Powercom company announced release of the software of UPSMON Pro of version 2.3 completely ready to work in the environment of VMware.

For the online UPS the ability to manage is implemented by groups of entrance sockets. It gives the chance to place priorities on the organization of protection of the equipment, providing the due level of security for the most important and also most sensitive equipment electric power to interruptions. It, in turn, allows not only to save the continuity of business processes, but also to considerably prolong life term to the expensive equipment, emphasized in the company.

Powercom also finished possibilities of UPSMON Pro for the organization of work in virtual environments — integration into solutions of VMware which allows during the operation of the UPS in the environment of VMware Windows to operate all virtual machines, regardless of the operating systems installed on them was carried out.

Besides, monitoring in virtual environment is possible without installation of the SNMP card now that it minimizes the customer's costs. Connection with the UPS is established on RS-232 or USB port, further all interaction happens in network at the programming layer.
