In the version of 2018 opportunities for backup and recovery are implemented:

• Cloning of an active disk: For fast transfer of a remark of a boot drive on a fast or big disk users do not need to reboot a system from the special boot carrier. The exact copy of the Windows system can be created without its stop and reset.
• The updated master of creation of the carrier: automatically creates the boot carrier for the WinPE environment thanks to what users can quickly solve problems with a configuration of drivers and recover systems on the same or on the new equipment.
• Continuous backup to the cloud storage: Backup copies of these users are constantly updated at change of work files and automatically transferred for safe and reliable storage in a cloud.
• Conversion to a virtual disk: Users can test process of recovery of complete backup copies of images now or start the system in virtual environment of Hyper-V for check of work of different applications without risk for main system, transfer a complete image of a system to other computer in the form of a virtual disk.
• The accelerated incremental backup: Thanks to Changed-Block Tracker technology which monitors changes of images in real time incremental backup is executed three times quicker.
• Automatic backup of data from mobile devices on NAS devices: More than a quarter of users of Acronis have houses network storages (NAS). Now they can automatically make backup copies of these mobile devices as this process begins, at once, as soon as the mobile device is connected to Wi-Fi of network, as NAS.

In Acronis True Image 2018 support of social networks automatic backup of profiles of Instagram, including photos, comments and statistics, for example, quantity of likes, tags or number of comments on a post is expanded.

The upgraded user interface helps to manage quickly backup copies, volume of the saved data, types of files in storage, the statuses of backup copies.

Acronis True Image 2018 provides automatic recovery without allowing programs racketeers to damage user data. By means of algorithms of machine learning, the Acronis Active Protection technology will recognize atypical behavior models of programs in a system at access to files. Such models are created in specialized cloud AI infrastructure of Acronis which analyzes data of hundreds of thousands of both harmful, and legitimate processes for determination of their purity. These models are built in directly Acronis Active Protection and provide data protection even in the absence of Internet connection. At detection of "unusual" activity of Acronis Active Protection checks process about use of the heuristic analysis, models of the expected and unexpected behavior of applications. If process is identified as potentially harmful, Acronis True Image 2018 warns the user about suspicious activity.

Three options of licensing of Acronis True Image 2018 work:

• Standard is the perpetual license without cloud functions and the cloud storage it is intended for the clients preferring to store data on local disks.
• Advanced is an annual subscription to 250 GB in the cloud storage for storage of backup copies and access to all cloud functions.
• Premium is an annual subscription with additional opportunities of confirmation of authenticity of data and the electronic signature using blockchain technology and 1 TB in the cloud storage for storage of backup copies.
