Industry development center and implementations of information systems (OCVR). Specializes in development and deployment of information systems on passenger traffic. Carries out tasks of digitalization of the railway industry, unification of approaches to creation and process optimization of development, implementation and maintenance of information systems of all companies entering into the Russian Railway.

Product, vendor and contractor

Within the project the platform of data management "UniData", the version of JSC NSI ASOUP-3 is implemented: The automated complex of maintaining NSI of a core ASOUP-3 (an automated system of operational management of transportations).

The developer and the supplier of the platform — UniData company. The Taskdata company acts as the contractor of the project.

Project Progress

The project began with "pilot" in 2015. The big project for which the component ensuring functioning with master data (MDM) was required then was let into the Russian Railway. Customers analyzed and selected from the different offers which are available in the market.

The main criteria when choosing the platform became:

• Import substitution;
• The products Open-source, or on their base;
• The volume of labor costs on completion and implementation.

For a pilot project the customer formulated requirements, including for the number of reference books/registers, to amount of data, requirements to functionality and loading. The pilot project lasted about half a year. For this period functional and stress testing is held.

At the end of 2015 the beginning of 2016, in connection with ASOUP-3 expansion, new requirements, including for implementation of integration tasks began to appear. Integration with the existing systems and also processing of a large number of objects of transportation process (processing of more than 1.5 million cars) was important aspect.

At the end of 2016 there was a transition to the new version of the platform which met the stated requirements. On this version there took place trial operation of a system after which completion the core was transferred to an industrial circuit.

The tasks solved by JSC NSI ASOUP-3

• Creation and maintaining the different reference books necessary for the solution of a problem of data transmission on warnings aboard the locomotive;
• One-time work with the large volume of data;
• Possibility of loading of third-party functions;
• Integration with a management subsystem access;
• Integration with external systems (SKD ASOUP, SB of ASOUP-3, AS of TsNSI, ASOUP-2ks)
• Creation of the automation equipment of transactions;
• Mode of approval of changes;
• Journalizing of transactions of the user.

Project Results

The functionality of the first stage of ASOUP-3 which part the Automated complex of maintaining NSI is is developed. Further incremental development of ASOUP-3 therefore new requirements to the Automated complex of maintaining NSI appear is executed.
