The Hanoi-Moscow Apart-hotel implemented the system of recognition of certifying documents from Smart Engines

The Smart Engines company announced on August 24, 2017 system implementation of recognition of certifying documents and migration cards for automation of process of registration of guests in apart-hotel of the Vietnamese Hanoi-Moscow cultural business center.

Project Results

Clients of Hanoi-Moscow apart-hotel are guests from Vietnam, China and other countries. At the same time owing to specifics of work of hotel most often it is about placement on accommodation not of certain guests, but organized groups. The problem of the system developed by specialists of Smart Engines consists in ensuring operational and high-quality extraction of data at a design of guests on a reception of hotel.

For acceleration of data entry about the guest in an information system the staff of hotel scans at the same time certifying document and the migration card of the guest. The system implemented in Hanoi-Moscow is able to find the certifying document and the migration card on one image. At recognition of the certifying document the Smart IDReader technology for information extraction from the machine-readable zone MRZ is used. For recognition of migration cards setup of recognition of printing characters on the standard document was performed.

We executed implementation of the technology developed by Smart Engines company independently. A system saved the staff of apart-hotel Hanoi-Moscow from accomplishment of large volume of routine transactions and reduced quantity of the small annoying errors arising in the course of manual entry — the chief financial officer of IK Incentra Maxim Petushko summed up the project results.

The recognized data are used not only for registration of visitors, but also when forming a document package necessary for arriving to accommodation in Russia which is transferred century FMS Russia.
