RRS-10G - the radio relay stations intended for work in the E-range of 71-76/81-86 GHz and data transmissions on speed of 10 Gbit/c.
On August 29, 2017 the DOK LLC company announced readiness of the equipment of the radio relay PPC-10G line for operation in networks of telecom operators.
RRL PPC-10G provides data transmission on speed of 10 Gbit/c. Radio relay lines of this kind are focused on use in reference wireless links of networks of the LTE standard and a 5G.
The radio relay station PPC-10G is completed with antennas with a diameter of 60 cm and the 100 milliwatts transmitter.
For increase in level of availability of RRL PPC-10G channel has functionality of adaptive modulation with the modulation type changed automatically from QAM 256 to BPSK for maintenance of the maximum availability in the conditions of the fog and rainfall complicating passing of radio waves in spectral area of E-range. At loss of rainfall of RRL PPC-10G changes type of modulation and, respectively, transmission rate to the most suitable in these conditions to provide continuity of a radio channel. With improvement of weather the transmission rate of RRL PPC-10G is automatically recovered to a maximum of 10 Gbit / c.
Radio relay stations are most effective at construction or upgrade in hard-to-reach spots of transport networks of mobile operators ̶ in such cases the RRS installation is the only alternative to laying of the optical cable. For increase in availability of the channel at big distances it is also possible to use the 10-gigabit equipment in the range of 40.5-43.5 GHz where propagation conditions of radio waves allow to work reliably at flights up to 10 km.
