The Primary source portal tests the protected Sibrus messenger

The Cybernika company, the domestic developer of communication systems, announced on September 4, 2017 start of testing of the protected corporate Sibrus platform by journalists of the Pervoistochnik edition. At the first stage the messenger will be used by the staff of the editorial offices in the Kirov region and the Komi Republic. A feedback from participants of testing will allow to implement a number of additional functions which are required for members of the media in software.

Solution

"Sibrus" is the Russian protected platform for corporate communications with wide feature set for joint work in one application. The solution is available to the PC and mobile devices that allows to integrate the employees of the edition who are in offices in different regions of Russia, the journalists working "in fields", non-staff bloggers and photographers, to accelerate their interaction, decision making and approval of documents.

Speed of receiving up-to-date information is important for each online edition more than ever — it is possible to release sensational news or to air with an exclusive only if you were in time the first, all other materials become reprints. Messengers as the tool for communications, help our employees to be in touch 24/7, but not only the efficiency, but also confidence that nobody will be able to intercept the transferred data or photos is important for us. For this reason for testing we selected the protected Sibrus platform which guarantees not only interaction, but also security — the Chief Editor of the Primary source portal Vsevolod Vasenin explained the choice of a product.

Work of journalists, especially when case concerns writing of complex materials and contacts with sources, it is similar to lawyer practice: confidentiality and an opportunity to communicate in private even in virtual space are obligatory. Thanks to the received comments and a feedback within implementation of a pilot project with Primary source we will be able to implement additional options which will allow to provide to journalists the multifunction and protected platform for operational communications — the development director of "Sibrus" Vladimir Pivovarov emphasized.
