A GS series - a line of gigabit uncontrollable switches.
On September 1, 2017 Allied Telesis announced a series of the CentreCOM GS920 switches, in expansion of the operating GS910 line.
The Allied Telesis CentreCOM GS920 switches provide safe gigabit switchings. They can be developed in work areas and small networks. DIP switches on the front panel provide a simple configuration of often used functions.
Characteristics of GS920 series
- gigabit network access for applications with intensive capacity
- support of the working groups of the different size with 8, 16 and 24 port models
- simple configuration of the device using DIP switches on the front panel
- decrease in operating costs using Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE)
GS920 allows setup of parameters by means of DIP switches:
- Protection against formation of loops (Loop Detection)
- Transparency for packets of BPDU/802.1kh EAP
- Mode of the hub (Flooding)
- Energy saving EEE mode
Devices are mounted in the metal body. Passive cooling.
