Caspian Offshore Construction implemented IBM Cognos

In September, 2017 the RBC Group company announced about the implementing solution IBM Cognos in Caspian Offshore Construction (SOS) — the private Kazakhstan company performing the activity in the market of mastering and support of the continental shelf in the Caspian Sea.

Project Tasks

For quality improvement of operational and strategic management and also for ensuring requirements of Caspian Offshore Construction regarding planning, budgeting, forecasting, the reporting and the analysis by the management of Caspian Offshore Construction the decision on system implementation of IBM Cognos which locates all necessary tools for the multidimensional business analysis, planning, modeling of different scenarios, accounting and forecasting was made.

Project Progress

• use the acquired information for achievement of optimal business results at the minimum time expenditure.

• To quickly consolidate data on the budgets created by key users on places instead of several days of manual processing and the code of data.
• Receive interpretation of the amounts both planned data, and actual, up to primary documents from the accounting system that was initially critical for Caspian Offshore Construction.
