Alsi (QlikView)

The consulting company RBC Group in July, 2016 completed a platform implementation project for the business analysis (BI) of Qlik in ALSI company (Kazakhstan).

Project Tasks

ALSI works at the market of Kazakhstan in information technology field, has branches in Astana, Karaganda, Atyrau and Aktau. Maintains partnership more than with 40 companies in the FSU and beyond. The main activity of the company — system integration and delivery of the computer equipment for corporate customers.

The solution to implement a BI system in ALSI was caused by the need for the tool allowing to accelerate and simplify process of preparation of the business reporting and also to quickly create the interactive panels, data visualizations, analytical tools giving the chance of studying of business information in any section.

Project Progress

Consultants of RBC Group company, with the assistance of the customer's specialists, completed all phases of the project — from development of technical specifications before start of a system in operation. Within the project the complex analytical application for "The analysis of sales and stocks" was developed and also installation of a system and training of specialists of the customer is executed.

Implementation Results

The implemented project gave the chance to specialists and to company management to carry out the comprehensive analysis of business data on sales and stocks. It was succeeded to reduce many times time for preparation of the reporting, users received the simple and convenient tool. Also using QlikView it is possible to reveal errors in 1C base and to timely make corrections.

The information system "1C:Enterprise 8 acted as data source . X.".

After implementation of the Qlik platform the analysis of sales and stocks became simpler and accelerated. It is possible to obtain data one click when choosing of the selected or newly created tab. Also the Qlik program reveals all errors 1C that is important for timely correction and adjustment in database 1C, Rinat Alimov, the technical director summed up the project results.

Objectives

In the near future the ALSI company plans development of the Qlik BI platform in other departments and also to expand partner cooperation with RBC Group company.
