The Smartlabs company announced in September, 2017 updating of the IPTV platform of Baltcom operator (Latvia). Baltcom — one of the largest telecommunication enterprises in the Baltic States providing services broadband access, telephony and digital television.
Smartlabs proapgreydit the platform of the operator, having implemented the latest version of the solution for provision of services of interactive SmartTUBE TV. Now Baltcom can offer the subscribers the multiscreen function, 'rewind' of air until seven days and other interactive services.
The system of content delivery SmartMEDIA was also integrated into the existing IPTV infrastructure of the operator. Besides, Smartlabs provided a full support of the existing park of prefixes and successfully replaced with them interfaces.
Baltcom also received in the order a full range of productive client applications and interfaces for the branded SML-5010 prefixes, phones and tablets on iOS and Android, the client portal for PC users.
In addition to management with a fast response they offer an opportunity of global search for content, support of three languages (English, Latvian and Russian) and also viewing carryover function from any application on the Set-top box.
