RBI-Contract

RBI-Contract is the platform for accreditation and prequalification of contractors within the competitive procedures. At the heart of the platform — the Telerik Sitefinity 9.0 platform

On September 18, 2017 the RBI holding announced start of own platform for accreditation and prequalification of contractors within the competitive procedures — the website RBI-Contract. The Digital Design company took part in creation of the platform based on the Sitefinity platform.

The companies which want to become contractors of RBI on different types of construction works should pass the online procedure of accreditation now, fill out necessary data on the portal, provide accounting documents. During creation of tender on RBI-Contract suppliers receive the automatic invitation to participation with detailed information on requirements. Prior to the due date contractors can send necessary documents, at the same time a system automatically analyzes provided data, including production and financial performance, and using mathematical algorithms finds "leaders". The platform shows what companies more reliable, financially stable what degree of load of contractors in other projects.

According to RBI, a system analyzes information in read minutes whereas on preparation of the procedure earlier and verification of the data provided by contractors several days left. The final solution remains for members of a tender committee.

Staff of RBI can manage tender conditions, raising or lowering coefficient through passage, to set different requirements to participants. The trust level to the contractors registered on the portal and who passed an accreditation stage is much higher, than to participants on the third-party competitive platform.

2018: Integration with EDMS

On June 7, 2018 it became known that the RBI group expanded possibilities of the RBI-Contract portal started in the fall of 2017. Now it serves not only for accreditation and prequalification of contractors, holding competitive procedures, but also for the subsequent exchange of documents and their approval.

The personal account of the contractor was developed for convenient work of contractors regarding exchange of commercial offers and supplementary agreements online on the portal. With its help partners can conduct document flow with RBI – to register supplementary agreements and commercial offers, to load necessary files, to keep track of the status of commercial offers which are in work or are complete, to unload reports.

The updated EDMS integrated with the portal provided to the company transparency of process and control of a proper design of a document package that significantly reduced time for approval and allowed to reduce influence of a human factor. Interaction of contractors and staff of RBI became more ordered, the number of paper documents which loss time slowed down approval decreased, storage became structured, search of the necessary document can be performed in several minutes, mail separate communications were succeeded by the unified interaction via the uniform portal.

"The portal of contractors gave us the chance to automate all procedure of selection of applicants – from prequalification before summing up. But in order that the participant did not drop out of communications after carrying out tender, we needed to connect electronic document management to the portal, to exclude unstructured communication in mail and long approval of paper documents. The functionality of the portal regarding electronic document management is implemented by means of MS SharePoint 16, Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow for work with forms of elements and workflows in MS SharePoint 16 using the Russian developer company Digital Design.

The electronic document management system and personal account were brought into trial operation at the beginning of 2018. The provided functions of a personal account tested already dozens of contractors.
