Code of security: Biological random number generator (BIODSCH)

The Code of Security company announced on September 18, 2017 obtaining the patent for technology of the biological random number generator (BIODSCH). Development describes approach of the company to the solution of a problem of random number generation using the computer and the person and is applied in such products as "Continent-AP", Secret Net Studio, Continent of TLS, Jinn.

The taken-out patent No. 2628213 protects copyright development of "The code of security" and documents uniqueness of the technology offered by the company.

BIODSCH it can be used for generation of the random series (RS) on personal gadgets where it is not obligatory to use specialized devices to this purpose or embedding of additional hardware components is complicated.

At the same time, the biological random number generator can be used at creation of means of cryptographic information protection and also for the solution of any technical tasks requiring application of the random binary series. For example, the speed of creation of cryptographic keys on portable devices of the user – for the organization of the protected remote access to different resources, enciphering of user data and formation of the electronic signature increases.

We carried out the deep and comprehensive analysis of different methods of generation of random series and technical solutions. Came to a conclusion that reasonable estimates of performance of generation or statistical properties of output random series or both that, and another are often not provided. The process of interaction of the user offered by us with the computer allows to provide steady generation of the joint venture with high entropy — Alisa Koreneva, the systems analyst of Code of Security company told.

The patented method of generation of the random binary series using the computer and actions of the user is implemented in cryptographic library Scrypt.
