MegaFon started remote control of NB-IoT and accounting of housing and public utilities in Innopolis

MegaFon started in September, 2017 the complete solution on remote control and accounting of resources of housing and public utilities on the basis of the NB-IoT standard in the innovation city of Innopolis. The minister of informatization and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, the mayor of Innopolis and MegaFon signed the agreement of intent in May, 2017.

The complete solution of MegaFon opens opportunities as for the companies in the field of housing and communal services and management companies, and for consumers: will become possible to monitor resource consumption, to automatically collect and transfer data to services housing and public utilities, to browse them in the protected cloud interface, to pay utilities online and also to avoid errors in charges and to prevent fraud. The city will receive the instrument of monitoring and forecasting of resource consumption and can quickly react to emergency situations, and residents should not submit data monthly manually.
