Sony Venice Movie camera

Sony Venice is a full movie camera.

On September 6, 2017 Sony Electronics provided a full digital movie camera of VENICE.

The company carried this product to generation of the cameras Sony CineAlta. It is created for expansion of creative opportunities of directors by means of large-format full frame image capture with natural color shades and transfer of dark zones. The design of VENICE is developed as a result of cooperation with creative community and a research of needs of film crews and specialists.

The camera is equipped with the full frame sensor of 36х24 mm in size and is compatible to the range of lenses, including PL, anamorfotny, 35-millimeter and full frame with a bayonet joint.

The sensor with function of user preference of the image allows to remove 35 mm in the Super format. At the same time the technology of fast scanning of the image minimizes "effect of jelly".

The system of a color setting and broad color range gives to users freedom for work with the image on post-production. VENICE gives the chance to select from more than 15 options of lighting for processing of certain stages – from low illumination to direct sunshine.

VENICE provides production using the preset 16-bit RAW/X-OCN and XAVC, using the writing AXS-R7 block. VENICE is compatible to cameras CineAlta accessories (the DVF-EL200 Full HD OLED view-finder, the writer device AXS-R7, AXS-CR1 and AR1 card readers, the memory cards AXS and SxS).

The camera is equipped with the clear control panel located on the left and right parties. 24-watt inputs and exits of a power supply and also the Lemo connector allow to use a set of standard accessories for cameras even in the most severe conditions.
