In VTB 24 the project of replacement of Omnitracker by HP Service Manager started

VTB 24 selected the contractor for system implementation of process automation of operation based on the HP solution of Service Manager. The bank published request for proposals on accomplishment of the corresponding works with the starting price more than 122 million rubles in September, 2017^[1]. The results were summed up on October 26.

Five applications from the companies"Technoserv" Team Force AT Consulting, "Laboratory of computing systems" and AF Laboratory were submitted for the tender. The offer of Technoserv which was selected by the winner was the most profitable. Based on additional negotiations the cost of the contract was 107 million rubles.

The system of HP Service Manager which Technoserv should implement will allow bank to perform service IT infrastrktury and to provide services to users, to automate management processes, including management of service requests (requests), addresses of users, incidents and problems, configurations, changes, the service layer, knowledge and tasks.

At the time of implementation in VTB 24 the automated system of Omnitracker based on which processes of management of requests, addresses, incidents, configurations, tasks are automated functions. It is integrated with some other IT systems of bank.

VTB 24 bank has more than 1 thousand offices in 72 regions of the country. In the existing automation system of processes of operation about 10-12  thousand objects (addresses, incidents, etc.) a day are registered.

A new system should provide a possibility of simultaneous operation not less than 1 thousand contractors and 2.5 thousand users of a self-service portal and also work with volume of the registered objects a day to 15 thousand objects.

Thanks to migration on HP Service Manager bank wants to expand a range of the implemented ITSM processes (IT Service Management, management of IT services) and expects to increase controllability and measurability of activity of the divisions due to elimination of the "numerous functional restrictions" inherent to the operating system.

Also VTB 24 expect to reduce risks of distortion of information due to creation of an integrated environment of management of services based on software of one producer.

The decision on migration is made within integration of two banks, - told TAdviser in the press service of VTB. - The Omnitracker system reached a maximum of opportunities for VTB 24 on functional and load characteristics at the moment. The single system of the united bank will be constructed based on the products of HP company which are already successfully operated in two banks

In September, 2017 in VTB the new Head of Department of IT - Sergey Baranov who will integrate infrastructure of two banks was appointed.

On execution of works Technoserv will have 630 calendar days from the moment of contract signature.
