2020: Implementation of Vitro-CAD

On September 7, 2020 the Vitro Soft company (Vitro Software) announced system implementation of technical document flow based on Vitro-CAD software at "Anapagradzhanproyekt design institute.

Main objectives of implementation were called:

• Support of uniform regulations of design
• Creation of the general development environment and storage of design documentation
• Reduction of time for release and search in archive and current project documents
• Control of development and use of the design estimates

For achievement of these purposes it was necessary to solve the following problems:

• Create uniform storage of documentation with a connectivity to it the external organizations
• Organize structure of storage with attributes for search and creation of reports
• Unify and automate filling of stamps and main texts in drawings
• Differentiate access rights to users of a system to projects and sections
• Organize control of version control of files

Basic reasons of acquisition of the Vitro-CAD system:

• Frequent cases of a mismatch of versions of the project documentation
• The low performing discipline of designers preventing implementation of regulations of design

Course and stages of the project

1. Preproject system testing of technical document flow of Vitro-CAD by specialists of Anapagrazhdanproyekt company. Result:

• the decision on purchase and system implementation of Vitro-CAD is made
• the implementation team - specialists of Premium Soft LLC is chosen.

2. Inspection. Requirements to structure of storage of the project documentation are created. Result: the document "The Detailed Project on Setup of a System" is developed

3. Vitro-CAD setup. Result: the structured storage of documentation is created.

4. Input of initial data. Result: reference books of a system are completed and initial data on the current pilot project are entered.

5. Training of the system administrator of Vitro-CAD and key users.

6. Start in trial operation.

Project Results

• Creation of a common information space for collecting and storage of technical documentation
• Setup of structure of storage of documentation on regulations of the enterprise, its fixing in templates
• Ensuring automatic filling of stamps and main texts on documents of the project
• Setup of a system of access rights according to regulations of the enterprise

On the next stage on development of a system it is planned:

• Scale a system on projects where BIM modeling based on Autodesk Revit is implemented.
• Develop regulations of use of the Vitro-CAD system for all departments of Anapagrazhdanproyekt company.
