Standartinform will take under control distribution of the magazines "in digit" using StarForce

On September 21, 2017 the StarForce company announced that the Russian scientific and technological center of information on standardization, metrology and conformity assessment (Federal State Unitary Enterprise Standartinform) selected the solution of StarForce Content PDF for control of distribution of digital versions of the periodicals.
Project Tasks
According to modern requirements the Standartinform magazines appear in a paper and electronic form. Could exchange until recently digital versions of magazines freely both on Network, and on material carriers that led to decrease in profit of the enterprise. Protection of StarForce will allow to manage access to electronic periodicals for prevention of their unauthorized copying and distribution.
The selected solution
The solution StarForce Content PDF is developed for the publishers interested in preserving of control over the intellectual property in the digital world. In the course of protection files are converted into the SFPDF format which can be opened only using the special program for viewing — StarForce Reader. The serial number is issued to the reader, and at the time of its activation there is a binding of the copy of the protected content to parameters of the user device. In the subsequent the protected document can be opened only on the device which underwent activation. The solution also provides protection against removal of screen copies and unauthorized printing.
Our system has ample opportunities for work with subscribers, for example, it is possible to set validity period of serial number and to adjust it in case of prolongation of a subscription.
