Healthy Networks is the Belarusian startup developing automatic system of diagnostics of a status of lungs on the basis of an auskultation (the analysis of a sound of lungs).

The Belarusian company Healthy Networks develops the system allowing to estimate a condition of lungs on the basis of the analysis of sounds and the accompanying symptoms using neural networks. The startup offers an electronic stethoscope which can use at home. The device catches the sounds unavailable to human hearing, and helps the doctor to make the exact diagnosis timely.

History

2019: Attraction of $925 thousand investments

On December 23, 2019 it became known of attraction of investments by Healthy Networks company in the amount of $925 thousand. According to the results of this round of financing the total amount of the means received by a startup exceeded $1 million.

As the CEO of Healthy Networks Elena Binetskaya told the Dev.by edition, the German producer of smart devices for health of Beurer, Verge HealthTech Fund venture fund and also two angel investors — from Estonia and Italy invested in the company.

It became known of attraction of investments by Healthy Networks company in the amount of $925 thousand

Healthy Networks intends to use investments for start Bluetooth stethoscope and applications of LungPass in the Belarusian and European markets.

Lung Pass allows to reveal asthma, a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, bronchitis and mukovistsidoz. By December 23, 2019 the product is completely ready, the certification process proceeds. Developers want to complete this procedure in Belarus in the summer of 2020, and in Europe — by the fall.

The application will be available to operating systems iOS and Android in the English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Russian languages.

Elena Binetskaya told about plans to attract additional investments for development of a product and its promotion.

2017: Receiving $100 thousand from Spacemind Capital

On September 26, 2017 it was announced that Healthy Networks attracted $100 thousand from the Russian venture fund Spacemind Capital. Using these means the company is going to prepare within half a year for production model of an inexpensive electronic stethoscope and to create mobile application which for several seconds will analyze sounds of lungs of the person and will report whether dangerous rattles were defined and of what disease they are characteristic. If desired, the user will be able to get remote advice of the doctor by text, audio or video conference.

It is planned that people with chronic diseases, such as asthma and HOBL, will be able to keep track of dynamics of the status, to understand what influences it. The application will inform the user on the coming sharp stage of a disease in time - and timely begun treatment can help to avoid hospitalization.

Healthy Networks closely cooperates with Department of pulmonology and phthisiology of the Belarusian Medical Academy for Post-Graduate Education. Elena Anatolyevna Lapteva, the head of department, the doctor of medical sciences, emphasizes importance of this undertaking:

'First, it is significant saving of time of the doctor: the nurse or even the patient can listen to lungs and respond to in advance prepared list of questions. Secondly, it is some kind of passport of lungs for chronic patients which they keep between acceptances, and coming to the doctor show the evident report - so at once the course of disease, features of its current is clear'.

Potentially the accuracy of computerized analysis of a sound of lungs complemented with data of the questionnaire of the user on the accompanying symptoms will exceed like that at the ordinary therapist or the pediatrician. It will allow to implement in large quantities a product in a health care system and also to use it in social objects: gardens, schools, nursing homes.
