Chevron replaced the platform of development of lubricants

On September 28, 2017 the Dassault Systèmes company announced implementation of platform 3DEXPERIENCE in Chevron Products company.

Project Tasks

Chevron needed data of difficulties of observance of regulatory requirements, the choice of raw materials in different regions to a minimum, optimizing products development cycles.

The industry solution of Dassault Systèmes of 'Perfect Product' was selected.

Taking measures for increase in traceability of structure of products and the used materials and also for standardization of verification processes and the statement of products, the Chevron company intends to increase product quality in all the portfolio. Using platform 3DEXPERIENCE the numerous specialists in division of Chevron in production of lubricants working in the most different parts of the world will be able to get access to uniform data source with a search capability on these data and their reuse at any moment, to collect information on the project status and target terms of its end and also to purchase an opportunity for work with a supply chain.

The company addressed Dassault Systèmes. Consulting support was given by specialists of Tech Mahindra company.

Project Results

As a result of implementation the customer less than in a year passed from the outdated Lotus Notes applications to the platform and met the taken-away budget.

The industry solution of Dassault Systèmes of 'Perfect Product' meets the requirements of Chevron for production of lubricants. The solution 'Perfect Product' based on platform 3DEXPERIENCE allows to integrate users in scales of a global corporate structure using a digital medium for joint work, helping to reduce thus the necessary time, resources and costs connected with new product development.
