Transneft buys software of IBM on 200 million

IBM Websphere for state monopoly

The state monopolist of pipeline transportation of oil products — the Transneft company — is ready to spend 192 million rubles for software of IBM Websphere. This amount appears as the starting price of the contract in the tender for the choice of the supplier started on September 28, 2017 about 50 thousand different software licenses^[1].

Requests from applicants will be accepted till October 19, 2017, biddings are planned for October 31. On execution of the assumed obligations for the supplier taking into account time necessary on agreement signature, to future supplier it is allocated less than a month — all deliveries should come to the end till November 30, 2017.

The analysis of the website of state procurements shows what carries out the tenders connected with products of IBM Transneft regularly. So, on September 19, 2017 the company signed the agreement on 25.3 million rubles with RRS-Baltika on expanded technical support of software of IBM. Earlier, the delivery contract software with Krastkom company on 52.2 million rubles was signed on November 16, 2016. Even earlier, on October 3, 2016 in a row on technical support program and the hardware of IBM got to Diona Holding for 64.2 million rubles, and on January 12, 2016 the contract for technical operation and maintenance of information systems on the IBM FileNet platform went to Transneft telecom for 24 million rubles.

What is bought

As it appears from the documents posted on the website of state procurements, Transneft expects to purchase 140 licenses for applications for monitoring of business processes in real time of Business Monitor, 4,760 — on software of the WebsphereApplicationServer application server, five — at the expense of SpectrumProtectSnapshot backup, 200 — on software for archiving of the authorized file systems of ContentCollector, 280 — on the server software for integration of large volumes of data of Websphere Transformation Extender.

Besides the state company needs 16 software licenses of agency 100 licenses for software of client management of crucial business applications of TivoliCompositeApplicationManager and also 560 licenses for the automation system of business processes Process Server Standard, 2100 licenses on network to WebsphereMQ software, 280 — on integration software of IntegrationBus, 2660 — on network by MQ software, 5461 — on business process management software for authorized users of Case Foundation and 33040 — on Websphereapplicationserverdlya of the distributed server environment.
