The Krok application turned out to be the cheapest at a price of 51.8 million rubles against 54.8 million from Oberon and 52 million from Voskhod. In addition, the reception commission praised the qualifications and business reputation of Krok against the background of competitors (see below).

According to the TA, 625 users' workplaces are subject to migration to Russian software.

The IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Transport of Russia uses two Windows Server 2008 R2 level Active Directory forests associated with trust relations. Microsoft Exchange 2007 is used as the mail system.

The Ministry's file service includes several independent servers based on Windows Server. File resources are delivered to users through shortcuts on workstations. There is no print service as of the date the contest was announced. Network printers are connected manually. The network access server Internet is a Squid server.

Most user workstations have PCs iRU different assemblies. The basic desktop software includes: Windows operating systems of various versions, MS Office of various versions, solutions "Consultant +" and "Guarantor," archivers, software for working with PDF files, Internet Explorer.

Additional software used in part of workplaces includes the products "Code," VipNet, "Quarta Accounting," "Quarta Personnel," "Crypto Pro."

In addition, the department uses certified interdepartmental electronic document management. Access is via a web browser. To sign EDS documents on the portal, Crypto Pro is used.

The virtualization platform is VMWare ESX software of various versions. A total of 16 virtualization servers were deployed in the Ministry of Transport of Russia. The backup is performed using Veeam software.

The customer needs the appropriate software for the migration project. In particular, these are Alt Server server operating systems and operating systems for Alt Workstation workstations, My Office Standard office packages, MyOffice mail servers, P-Virtualization services and data warehouses for R-Storage virtualization service.

The listed solutions shall be delivered in two stages. The first delivery will be completed with a pilot user migration and a design phase. After transferring the remaining products to the customer and deploying them, the main group of users should be migrated and options for migrating "problem" jobs should be worked out.

All migration work should be completed by the end of 2018.
