The Innovation center "Skolkovo" will create the intelligent navigation system

On October 4, 2017 the Skolkovo Foundation announced the conclusion the Innovation center Skolkovo of the agreement with the company integrator of "smart" solutions for the transport industry "T-1 Group" on creation for the center of the intelligent navigation and information system (INIS ITsS).

Prerequisites

According to traffic police, for the first quarter 2017 the accident rate in Russia with participation of public passenger transport grew in comparison with the same period of 2016. It, in turn, negatively affects failure trends from the individual transport.

Project Tasks

According to Alexander Kukanov, the CEO of "T-1 Group", a task of the company — to construct a versatile intellectual tool of control and control of public transport within the project.

According to conditions of the signed document, in 330 days "T-1 Group" will create a core of the INIS ITSS system with the module "Passenger traffic".

Will enter problems of a system:

• monitoring of passenger transport,
• control of observance of the schedule and providing with up-to-date information of both operators of the dispatching center "Skolkovo", and inhabitants and guests of the science city.

The modern cities more than ever need high-quality innovation services both for passengers, and for drivers, and for transport enterprises in general as further development of territories and success of solving of tasks in creation of the comfortable vital environment depends on it. The created intelligent tools within INIS ITSS are designed not only to provide delivery of up-to-date versatile information to all interested users, but also to become in a sense one of important factors in the system of security accreditations on public transport — Alexander Kukanov emphasized.

System designation

In return, Maxim Sheyfel, the vice president of Skolkovo Foundation, City manager, explained that INIS of the Innovation center "Skolkovo" is created, first of all, for passengers as the tool allowing to plan effectively the working day. It is planned that a system will allow to keep track of actual position of the buses going to the innovation center in one interface and also to quickly inform dispatching office on quality of the provided services. Also function of a subscription to specific runs with the subsequent obtaining notifications about their statuses will be implemented.

In turn, the Skolkovo Foundation will receive the mechanism of control of execution of transport work and the schedule directly from vehicles, passing dispatching offices of operators of public transport. INIS optimizes interaction between the city, the passenger and the operator, Maxim Sheyfel is convinced.
