Ericsson Multi-SIM is technology for management of use of one phone number on different devices with SIM cards.
On October 5, 2017 the Ericsson company provided Multi-SIM technology. It provides a possibility of use of one phone number for commission of calls on different personal devices independent from each other with SIM cards.
Ericsson Multi-SIM allows to use the same number on several SIM cards, including those that already work in smartphones. Operators in whose networks the technology of Ericsson for VoLTE-networks is unrolled can connect Multi-SIM in the course of upgrade[1].
The complete network solution Multi-SIM is developed and acts on the basis technologies of voice transmission in LTE network (VoLTE) founded on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). Services of system integration of solutions of Multi-SIM for commission of calls are available.
For the operators using VoLTE/IMS technologies from Ericsson company, installation of a product will be upgrade of network.
