On October 6, 2017 the Polymedia company announced creation of the interactive museum in "The Moscow Taganka Theatre".
Project Tasks
The project was implemented to the 100 anniversary since the birth of the director Yury Lyubimov.
The memorable place in theater - Lyubimov's office. During lifetime of the director there were Andrey Tarkovsky, Innokenti Smoktunovsky, Vladimir Putin, Arthur Miller, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Bella Akhmadullina, Yevgeny Yevtushenko and other famous people here. All of them left paintings on office walls. The foundation of this tradition was laid by Andrey Voznesensky from the record "All Goddesses — as Toadstools before Women from Taganka".
To make these paintings public, engineers of Polymedia suggested to digitize and transfer all records to the theater foyer. On walls of the foyer of painting come to life, and their author tells the story of acquaintance to Yury Lyubimov and his theater.
It is easy in a basis of the concept of the created documentary 10-minute video installation which main actions are developed in Yury Lyubimov's office. At the beginning of video the room of the director increases to the foyer sizes, and at the viewer illusion is created that he is in that an office. The subject line by light from a small lamp is conducted. Small lamps were the main tool of Yury Lyubimov. Using them it interacted with the actors even during the performances. "Green" light meant that everything is good, "red" – there will be a rehearsal, and "white" was color of the various mysterious signs clear only to the director and his actors.
Project Progress
Video installation is implemented by means of 12 projectors of Panasonic, a switching system of Atlona, the multimedia server and the software of Unity. The video image is projected by a stitching method on perimeter of walls in the foyer the integral circular image.
The viewer receives 360 ° immersion in video content with 3D - effect and feeling of presence at the director's office. The 3D Labs United company took part in creation of content.
