Use of the Ethernet switches and the principles of SDN simplifies management of traffic flows, increases flexibility of infrastructure and gives the chance to adapt quickly to constantly appearing new formats of video.

In the solution OpenFlow SDN and NFV technologies for support of the virtualized program broadcasting ecosystem are used. Infrastructure of OpenFlow network provides continuous switching of the encapsulated flows (IP or RTP protocols), compatible to the existing standards ST 2022-6, ST 2022-7, AES67, TR-4 and the new ST 2110 standards, TR-03, NMOS-DRS. The specialized service uses the models compatible to the recommendations of AMWA (Advanced Media Workflow Association) and the NMOS specification (Networked Media Open Specifications). In the solution integration with media gateways, time timing sources under PTPv2 protocol, and integration of a transport network with cloud services of processing of media content is also provided. The software transport media platform on the basis of IP technologies which supports the broad range of applications both in traditional production, and in new service-oriented models is result.
