Biography

On May 23, 2019, the new chairman of the board of Modulbank took office. He was one of the three founders of the bank Oleg Laguta. Andrei Petrov, who previously held this position, remains a managing shareholder and member of the board of directors.

In 2006, he joined Uralsib Bank, where he headed the unit for the implementation of the balanced indicators system. In 2010, he headed the Strategic Management Office of the Sberbank Corporate Block. In 2014, he became one of the founders of Modulbank.

He began his career as a software developer while still studying at a university. In 2001, he began working at the consulting company MST LAB, which specialized in management consulting for medium-sized businesses and financial organizations, where he developed strategies and implemented changes for companies in various industries.

Oleg Laguta graduated with honors from the South Russian State Technical University in 2000 with a degree in Information Systems in Economics. In 2004, under the presidential program for advanced training of managerial personnel, he received a second higher education at the ANH under the government Russia in the specialty "Innovative Management."

2019: Withdrawal from Modulbank and share transfer to Avetisian

On December 10, 2019, it became known that the founders of Modulbank Oleg Laguta, Andrei Petrov and Yakov Novikov are selling shares in the company and moving to Vostochny Bank, in which they will deal with digital transformation projects. 2020: Court with Modulbank due to delays in payments of the agreement

In April 2020, it became known that the three founders of Modulbank - Andrei Petrov, Yakov Novikov and Oleg Laguta - sued their brainchild due to violations of labor agreements, follows from the file cabinet of Moscow courts. Vedomosti got acquainted with the lawsuit of Andrei Petrov, whose authenticity was confirmed by defender Petrov, lawyer of MKA Knyazev & Partners Roman Frantsev. The claims of Novikov and Laguta are the same, only filed with other courts, they explained to Vedomosti. The total amount of payments due to the three founders of Modulbank under the labor contract, according to their calculations, is 435 million rubles.: the bank is in no hurry to pay them and calls them an "astronomical golden parachute."
