SAP and Tyumenenergo create a polygon of a digital energy

In October, 2017 SAP CIS and Tyumenenergo signed the memorandum according to which in Surgut the Center of Innovations for Energy will be open. The agreement was signed by Gontarev Pavel, the head of SAP CIS, and Sergey Savchuk, the CEO of Tyumenenergo, on "The Russian power week 2017".

According to the memorandum, in Surgut the Center of IT innovations which task – development of solutions for a digital energy will be created.

"The program of digital economy raises the potential of many industries. For power it is also a possibility of high-quality break. SAP estimates the GDP growth potential connected with construction of digital power industry at 200 billion rubles, from them 100 billion – in power supply networks. The gain of profit of the power companies as a result of digital transformation of network business will make 4.3% of the current indicators. Therefore we open the first center of co-innovations together with one of key clients of SAP in the power grid sphere – Tyumenenergo", – Pavel Gontarev, the CEO of SAP CIS told.

The road map of the Innovation center will include developments on the SAP platform for creation of analysis systems "Big Data" (Big Data), mathematical modeling artificial intelligence, industrial Internet of Things and blockchain.

Among the priority applied directions – management systems for repairs and operation of the equipment, capital construction of power facilities and also artificial intelligence for management and forecasting of a status of networks. New solutions will be used in Tyumenenergo, and in the long term – and in other electric grid companies of the Rosseti group.

"The systems of intellectual business simulation and predictive analytics are only components of digital transformation of Tyumenenergo. We set a global task – to develop not separate solutions, but complex model and full-fledged IT infrastructure of the digital electrical power enterprise of new generation, the company of the future for the created Center of IT innovations. Separate examples of creation of such companies working, however, in adjacent areas are available abroad that taking into account competences of SAP gives us high chances of success", – Sergey Savchuk, the CEO of Tyumenenergo told.
