| Developers: | Norsi Trance (NT) |
| Date of the premiere of the system: | 2017 |
The Norsi Trance company presented in October, 2017 the solution for implementation of a packet of the anti-terrorist amendments known as the Yarovaya Law. The Yakhont-374-Golos complex within six months will store records of calls and video calls, the maintenance of Sms and also metadata about calls, Rbkpaket [1] reports[2]
According to the producer, in a system search in large volumes of data without deterioration in speed of system operation in general is also implemented. Two certain data warehouses, one for voice, another for text messages and the technical information are provided in a complex. Also "Yakhont-374-Golos" can provide simultaneous connection to 100 operations control rooms located at intelligence agencies using the special module.
According to the director of the Society of Protection of the Internet organization Mikhail Klimarev, it is no wonder that Norsi Trance provided to one of the first the equipment as the company is one of the main producers of the systems of investigation and search operations (SISO) in Russia and closely cooperates with FSB. Most likely, the company also took part in development of requirements to the equipment for the Yarovaya Law. Klimov also noted that the equipment is not intended for storage of Internet traffic and does not solve a problem of implementation of the Yarovaya Law completely.
The exact implementation cost of a similar system is still unknown, however, according to the experts, the amount can exceed 763 billion rubles only for cellular operators. This digit is comparable to that how many earned the largest mobile operators of Russia last year (totally their revenue made 712.2 billion rubles). Now the cost of the equipment of SORM is individual for each operator, and the equipment manufacturer can give to large operators a discount because of a large number of subscribers.
According to one of sources, operators will not manage to implement a system to summer of 2018 as its full implementation requires not less than two years.
