Rusmarin-Forvarding optimized processing of loads using Solvo.TOS

At the end of 2016 the Solvo company automated the container terminal of Rusmarin-Forvarding company based on a management system for container Solvo.TOS terminals.

Project Tasks

Optimization of processing of loads and production processes on the Rusmarin-Forvarding terminal was the purpose of system implementation of the class TOS.

Implementation Progress

On the terminal the Solvo.TOS system with complete functionality, including the module Solvo.WEB which allows to get in real time an information access about a load, storage locations, the performed operations, time of processing of requests was installed.

Completions of Solvo.TOS were minimum, and in general system implementation passed quickly and did not break workflows on the terminal.

Specifics of process automation

Due to the presence at the Rusmarin-Forvarding terminal of two platforms for processing of loads, between them a large number of transactions is made. Communication between platforms and cargo transfer happens to the help of container carriers which move also on city roads. The main objective in this case is a timely fixation of movement of containers and instant tracking of location of a container.

On the terminal there is a delivery of import containers by land, on technology of customs transit Dry port. This feature is considered in requests for an autovisit in the Solvo.TOS system. In a system it is specified that the import container is delivered by land.

Project Results

The Solvo.TOS system was started in in only one month thanks to the coordinated joint work of specialists of Solvo and Rusmarin in the mode of non-feet.

Own accounting system which fixes all transactions with a load and is integrated with the Solvo.TOS system which is responsible for ensuring management of technology transactions in real time and electronic support of documents acts as a head system on the Rusmarin-Forvarding terminal.

In particular, a system manages such processes as:

• loading/unloading of containers (including planning and control),
• automatic search of a necessary container in parameters,
• optimization of operations on movement of containers,
• processing of the automobile front,
• the organization of preliminary applications for autovisits through a system a time-slotirovaniya,
• optimization of the movement of the handling equipment on the terminal and between platforms.

Thanks to modern instruments of visualization of topology of the Solvo.TOS terminal managers can exercise in real time control over the current and planned activities, manage activity statuses, fullness of stacks, zones and cells, to control traffic and many other things. Also Solvo.TOS manages internal transactions (a zatarka/rastarka of containers), provides interaction with customs authorities — automatic formation of report documents of DO1 and DO2.

As the CIO of STC Rusmarin Vadim Ustinov noted, "implementation of Solvo.TOS on the terminal already through short time allowed to speak about positive effect: cost reduction on management of production processes, increase in efficiency of processing of loads, performance improvement, all this allowed to achieve the main result — compliance of quality of our works to customer expectations of the terminal. And it, in turn, led to the fact that several months later later began Solvo.TOS functioning, we can state increase in demand for our services".

Objectives

In plans of the company — installation of the cargo module Solvo.TOS.Cargo (processing of general loads).
